FM with Lisa review - luxury beauty for all

FM World review

With so many big brand beauty launches happening right now, Autumn is a great time to explore products available from local representatives of multi level marketing brands.

It's easy to forget that they are not just passionate about what they do but are also self-employed. They are running their own small businesses and offer bespoke customer service. With laser sharp focus on individual needs, they can help you identify the correct products for your skin as well as point you in the direction of great make-up and hair products.

FM with Lisa delivers all of that - along with fabulous gift ideas.

I've been lucky enough to test some of FM World's beauty products. In this piece, I will share what I liked about them and why.

FM Phenomenal Mascara - Intense Black

FM Phenomenal Mascara - Intense Black

I received this essential make-up item in a Christmas gift set, carefully curated by Lisa to appeal to everyone.

The formula of this mascara is one of the things that makes it stand out. The pigment is intense but the mascara is not too wet. This eliminates the age-old issue of blobs and clumping.

Perhaps the best thing about the product is the slim wand. It is very similar to Clinique's. The shape and length means it can reach lashes other brushes can't. Outer and inner corner lashes? Tick. Bottom lashes? Another tick.

As well as delivering a false lash effect in very few coats, this mascara is not expensive. It compares favourably with other leading brands but outstrips many on performance.

For the price point and overall effect, it's a mascara devotees rave about. And I'm not surprised.

The mascara boasts an advanced formula with nourishing properties. It has been developed to lengthen and thicken lashes while keeping them separated.

FM Gold Regenesis Anti-Ageing Night Cream

FM Gold Regenesis Anti-Ageing Night Cream

My daughter bought me this as a gift. It came in an attractive 50ml pot and promised to target all the main signs of ageing.

If you are looking for an age-defying cream to wear over a serum as part of your evening skincare routine, this is a good choice. The consistency is perfect for sealing in the serum and, of course, the product itself is packed with potent ingredients.

They include Niacinamide, Shea Butter, Hyaluronic Acid and a ceramide complex. The product also contains jojoba, argan, rose and coconut oils.

Together, they smooth the skin and boost its defences against moisture loss. So, if you need to find a skincare product that will deliver real hydration, put this on your 'to try' list.

If I had to liken Gold Regenesis to other products, in terms of performance I would point to Prai's 24K night creme.

What other users say about this product, and I agree, is that it leaves the skin looking renewed and radiant. You really can wake up with glowing skin with this night cream.

In terms of targeting signs of ageing, this product will minimise the appearance of fine lines and, due to its Niacinamide content, it will also even out the skin's tone.

Thanks to natural ingredients included in the cream, it also has an anti-oxident benefit for the skin.
